One of the best ways to stay in contact with your registered users is to launch your own business blog and post to it frequently. Once you have it up and running, feature some of your blog posts within the text of your newsletters that you send to your customers, with a link to your blog and an invitation for them to subscribe to your blog through RSS (or "Really Simple Syndication). The way RSS works is that once your customers subscribe to your blog, they'll be notified every time you post a new blog entry. This allows them to get regular updates from you and check those updates on their schedule. A blog is another great way to provide value to your customers. It's perfect for short "tips" on topics relevant to your industry or business - things that might not make a great newsletter article, but are perfect in bite-sized chunks, posted on a regular basis. And, an added feature that your blog will have is the ability for your customers to leave you feedback or comments, enabling them to start a conversation with you and to invite other readers of your blog to join in the conversation as well.
